New Opportunities… (Pre – Production, Akkalkot)

In mid-November of 2023 I had been at ‘D Green Village Resort’ in Akkalkot, Solapur. You might know the reason if you’ve the read the 2023-year end blog if you haven’t, here’s the link. So, while weekending there I was having with the manager there and he very knew that I’m a photographer, cinematographer also a media student.

Just while having a casual talk, I was telling him I’m looking for opportunities to expand my portfolio and to my luck he told he has a perfect opportunity for it, curious me wanted to know and when asked he told me the resort is booked for a wedding function end of November and also hosting a New-Year Eve party in December to which I was invited to cover both the events. It wasn’t possible for me to come in November but I assured him I’ll be celebrating New Year 2024 at D Green Village Resort. Although I had no proper plans how I’ll do it what I’ll do but I accepted the opportunity to step up.

Fast forward to December 29th midnight, I just wanted to confirmed with the manager whether I should I come, or no? But he said I should surely come.

Rushed in the morning to book my tickets

The next day early morning on 30th December I went to Borivali and booked my tickets to Solapur from Vasai as that was only left, it was an evening train estimated to reach Solapur station at midnight so I thought a sleeper class ticket would be preferable sad part about this I didn’t get confirmed tickets although I booked sleeper class tickets and not general there was no hope of a confirmed ticket as the previous night, I had already checked on the IRCTC app. Reached home, packed my bag and was ready to leave for Solapur station, until a big problem arrived to know what it was read There’s Something Beyond Logic called Magic (Production) Solapur Dairies.
