Preparations For The Indore Trip (Pre-Production)

Indore Diaries is a series of 3-part travel blog/article in the form of story-telling titled Pre-production, Production, Post-Production in which 3 students visited Indore for a film festival. So let’s goo to Indore at the Kalakari Film Festival.

During the practice of farewell (giving farewell to our seniors) we got a call from Hetanshi our director informing us that our shortfilm ‘REDLIGHT’ has been nominated at the Kalakari Film Festival In Indore. And we have been invited to attend the festival. On hearing this we were overwhelmed and happy. We soon started to look for tickets to book them but later were awestruck when our Sem 4 timetable arrived and we realized that our event day is clashing with our 1st paper which both were on 18th March 2023. We were heartbroken as this was our first time getting invited to a film festival outside Mumbai. So, we approached the Head of the Department Preeti, ma’am, of our course and ma’am helped us out, later we approached the exam committee and our Madam Principal. We then booked our train tickets. Everything was smooth as butter. But in this process the accommodation that was supposed to be provided to us got full. Read the next blog to know what happened next.
